I couldn’t believe it, waking up I felt different then I ever had in my entire life, everything was over. Direct Hit was finished off with it’s twentieth episode, ending in a punt kick to Shane Billz skull. The on the final Legacy, the fifteenth and more then likely final episode, I defeated Shadow Demon to retain the No Limit Wrestling Federation Championship. The Final weekend for the shows that made NLWF famous, it was a lot to take in, I sat up out of bed.

No more Direct Hit… No more Legacy… No more Chuck Matthews.

I stood up and walked into the bathroom, just like I did almost every morning, I looked into the mirror, and looked at my reflection, in the background I could see my championship display case. The World Heavyweight Wrestling Championship, The No Limit Wrestling Federation Championship, and one half of the Undisputed Tag Team Titles, just like back in Salvation.

It feels… Different…

I thought about the past two months, starting all with that one forsaken night, June 3rd, the night that changed wrestling. Why wouldn’t Chuck just say something? Anything? “Hey Carmine if you trade him, you‘re going to have to trade me too!” He knew how much Direct Hit meant to me, That I wanted to spend my entire career on Direct Hit. He knew that the six month anniversary show was coming, how much I wanted to be a part of it, how I wanted to headline that show. Instead, I got sent away, shipped off, I took over Legacy, then took over Direct Hit when Jessica kept her promise.

Chuck… Why the hell don’t you care more about things.

I got ready and stepped out of the bathroom, I walked towards my Championship display case, but instead of the World Championship, I grabbed my half of the Tag Team Titles.

Tables, Ladders, and Chairs..

I had only been in once TLC match in my life, Brenton Cyrus and Chuck Matthews versus Jake Stunner and Joe Santiago. I laughed out loud.

Man…

I felt a tear run down my cheek, I cleared my mind, then went back to thinking about TLC. Then out of nowhere, like a flash of brilliance, I got the idea for what to do this week. I grabbed my Tag Team Title and left my house. There she was, my brand new car, a cheery red, Ferrari-Concept, the car made for God, fully customized just for me, it was my bat mobile. I got in and fired up the engine, it was a beautiful sound, I pulled out of my driveway, and I was on my way to the NLWF Studio.
