A Prophet's prayer
(Promo opens on a hooded and cloaked figure kneeling in front of a solid black marble alter. His head is bowed and his hands are entwined in front of him. The figure does not flinch as one of the heavy wooden doors at the back of the Hall of the Prophet swings open and quietly closes again. Sal Remis is seen walking from the back of The Hall and down the midnight black carpet that coats the floor of the main walkway. He slows his walk and comes to a complete stop as he approaches the hooded and cloaked figure. Sal drops to one knee and bows his head)
Sal Remis
My Prophet
(Corey Casey does not seem to move an inch. The only thing you can hear is his whispered voice echoing around the empty Hall)
Corey Casey
Sal…what can I do for you?
(Sal Remis visibly shivers. The Prophet did not sound like his normal self)
Sal Remis
Prophet…if I might have a few words with you
(Corey Casey still does not move. He knows why Sal has come and what he wants to ask. Corey Casey had spent hours praying to the God for an answer to his prayer but his prayers had gone unanswered. This was causing him great distress as the God always answered the prayers of his Prophet and blessed his Prophet with his infinite wisdom, until this night. Something was going on with the God; of this Corey Casey was sure)
Corey Casey
Come and kneel beside me my old friend
(Sal climbs to his feet and approaches The Prophet. He kneels beside Corey Casey and tilts his head back. Before the two sits the black marble altar dedicated to Brenton Cyrus. Golden candles stand tall to either side of the altar and a blood red cloth is draped over the top of it. In the background looms the giant golden statue of Brenton Cyrus doing his God pose. A look of seriousness lingers on Brenton’s statue’s face as it seemingly looks through the back of the Hall and out beyond the City it’s self into infinity.
Sal looks over at The Prophet but his face is barely visible because of the black hood that is covering Corey Casey’s head. The two do not exchange any words but simply stay kneeling in silence, each uttering their prayers to the God and hoping to hear his divine voice in their ear, guiding them to the right path. Sal eventually works up the courage to speak)
Sal Remis
My Prophet…I have come with you to check on your well being after what occurred on Revolution…
(As soon as the word “Revolution” leaves Sal’s mouth he is immediately knocked over by what can only be described as a wave of pure darkness that floods the Hall. Sal is shocked to find himself on his back and he struggles to open his eyes. As his eyes open he looks around and sees that nothing else has moved and that Corey Casey is still kneeling in front of the altar. He climbs hesitantly to his feet and once again kneels beside The Prophet)
Corey Casey
I am sorry for that Sal. I have been here for hours praying to the God for the answer to my own question. I have struggled to see the light and the divine path that Brenton has for me and what he could have been planning by sacrificing me to Chuck Matthews on Revolution.
Sal Remis
Do you truly believe the God sacrificed you to Chuck?
(Corey Casey turns his head slightly to look at Sal. Corey’s normally clear and sharp white eyes are slightly clouded and he has a troubled look on his face. Sal is slightly shocked to see The Prophet like this. Corey shakes his head as if trying to clear the cobwebs from behind his eyes)
Corey Casey
The God has a plan Sal…it is not for any of us to question The God’s divine will. That is not the only thing troubling me though Sal…
Sal Remis
What else troubles you My Prophet?
Corey Casey
Nick Ridicule and his siren Ashley Matthews. They say they are doing the work of Salvation but their lies spreads like a toxic wave throughout NLWF.
(At the mere mention of Nick Ridicule a sneer crosses Sal’s face)
Sal Remis
Indeed My Prophet…Nick Ridicule is filth and that Matthews woman is no better than her father. But you will take care of him in the main event next week
(At the mention of next week Corey turns his head and gives Sal a confused look)
Corey Casey
Next week?
Sal Remis
Indeed…a triple threat match between yourself, Nick Ridicule, and “The Minister of Salvation” Shadow Demon in the main event.
(A sick smile begins to spread over Corey’s face as Sal speaks)
Corey Casey
This is excellent news indeed my old friend.
Sal Remis
A match for the ages My Prophet
(Corey bows his head once more and utters a brief prayer of thanks before standing)
Corey Casey
I must reflect on this news Sal, but you have indeed come bearing intriguing news
(Corey Casey turns and climbs the stairs. He comes to the top of the stairs and kneels in front of the altar. He then stands and kisses the top of the black marble altar. He walks around the altar and exits through a side door. The promo fades to black)
(The scene reopens in a pitch black room. The camera can not see a single thing and there is an eerie silence. Suddenly, a flash of movement is seen in the pitch black, followed by some muffled sounds. A shadow slowly approaches the camera. A white outline is seen on the figure’s chest as he slowly crawls towards the camera. The figure approaches the camera and a familiar voice begins to whisper)
The Prophet vs. The self-proclaimed “Sole Survivor” vs. The Minister of Salvation in the main event. Truly a match for the ages if you ask me…
(The figure is now close enough that you can see it is Corey Casey. He is wearing a straightjacket and his dreadlocks hang down in front of his face. His all white eyes are still murky as they seemingly swirl. Corey presses his face against the camera)
Nick Ridicule has been spreading his own version of Salvation through NLWF for far too long. He and his girlfriend have been allowed to spread their venom and poisonous lies in the quest to reunite Chuck Matthews and the God. Let me inform you of something Nick and Ashley…Salvation’s future lies with Brenton Cyrus and the dawning of the New Age of Salvation. Brenton showed me the light when he saved me and showed me the way of Salvation.
(Corey leans back and struggles against the constraints of the straightjacket. He suddenly laughs crazily)
The New Age of Salvation is dawning bright and clear on the horizon! The days of Chuck and Nick and God are over…blown like dust on the wind to the four corners of the Earth. Being here in this room has given me time, time to sit and time to find those ties that bind. The Demon turned Minister, The Sole Survivor no more, climb into the ring with the Prophet of lore. The New Age is dawning, banishing the night, as God himself shows all the way to what is right.
(Corey suddenly sits bolt upright. His black eye make up is smeared all over his face and Corey still has the sick smile on his face)
So Cyrus wrote it…so it shall come to pass…
(The promo cuts to static)

I am going to ask you the most important question of your life.
Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity depends on your answer,
The question is: Are You Saved?
It is not a question of how good you are
Nor is it a question of whether you are a church member or not
It is a question of whether you have seen the light
Whether the God has granted you the gift of the light of Salvation
It is through The Prophet that this message is delivered,
Through The Prophet that the God’s message is carried out
And it is through The Prophet that The God acts his will upon The Earth
So if you chose not to worship Brenton Cyrus as your Lord and Savior
Then your life is forfeit in the eyes of Salvation
Sal Remis
