Fight Hard, Fight Smart, Get That 56th Victory
OOC: Hello buttholes, and fuck you Stefan if you're creeping on here reading this, nosy fucker... anyways, at the end of this RP you'll notice that the second scene is taking place backstage at Exile before the event. I was going to post this RP on the 31st to make it more realistic and all since it's the day of, but I just finished the RP itself and decided that I would post it just to be safe. I don't know how much time Ima have to RP anymore cuz we're moving on the 31st instead of the 1st now, my dad hogs my laptop ALL DAY , and even after the 31st I won't know how long till we get internet setup at the new place.
Maybe I can bust out a shoot or something tomorrow or on the 31st before I move but I just posted this early instead of having to not be able to post it due to no time NAMSAYIN
So to anyone that wants to respond to this RP IC or whatever, do it on the 31st cuz that's when that scene is supposed to be taking place. If you respond to it before, Shark won't know what the fuck you're talking about
----
I quickly ran over to the door, locking it, then pushing everything I could find near it, barricading it and making sure we were all safe. After securing the front door, I ran over to the back door, doing the same exact thing. As I did all this, Brooklyn ran over to the windows, locking them and also barricading them.
We were all in danger right now, and despite the both of us trying to stay calm, I could see that Shawn was still horrified. Shawn sat under the dining table, shaking in fear.
BROOKLYN CARTER: Oh my God! James they're burning three crosses now!
I ran over towards the window where Brooklyn was. As I peeked outside I could see the KKK members burning three crosses outside of my mansion.
JAMES SHARK: Brooklyn, take Shawn upstairs.
BROOKLYN CARTER: But peanut...
JAMES SHARK: Take him upstairs now! just hide, get to safety.
We were all trapped in this house. The phones weren't working because the phone lines were cut, and for some odd reason, none of our cell phones had any reception. This wasn't a random act of intimidation. In a promo made by Steven Angel, he told London that he was a proud member of the KKK. Not only did he say it there, but he also said it to me at the press conference.
Shawn crawled out from under the table and ran up the stairs. I pointed over at him, commanding Brooklyn to follow him.
JAMES SHARK: Everything’s going to be okay, I promise.
A tear rolled down from her eye as she nodded her head. She began to turn away from me but I quickly grabbed her arm before she went up the stairs.
JAMES SHARK: I love you
BROOKLYN CARTER: I love you too!
Before we could have what could be our possible last kiss, there was a huge noise of impact coming from the front door. Quickly Brooklyn ran up the stairs as I made my way for the door. As I got to the door there was already a KKK member right in front of me.
COMMENTATOR: Here we go Ladies and Gentlemen, the first of many KKK challengers to take on James Shark here tonight right in his very own home!
The KKK member ran up to me, and out of instinct I just leaped forward and landed a huge “Swag Out” that knocked the KKK member out cold.
COMMENTATOR: SWAG OUT! He hits it, he hits it!
Suddenly a group of other KKK members began to come out from every direction. Some came through the windows, others came out of the fridge and even through the front door.
COMMENTATOR: Can James Shark handle the numbers game!?
I realized that I would eventually get beat down by all of these men, quickly I ran upstairs. For some reason the KKK members didn’t even follow me up the stairs which bought me some time. As I ran to my room I could see Brooklyn and Shawn almost panicking.
As they looked over at me I pulled the carpet that was on my floor up and out of the way, revealing a large safe. Opening the safe I commanded the two of them to hide in there. As they jumped into the safe, I closed the safe door and hid it with the carpet once again.
With the ghost still clear, I ran over to my closet, pushing the shelf wall in deep, causing a hidden section to appear. The hidden section were shelves filled with guns. RPG’s, Rifles, Semi-Automatics, Pistols, Machine Guns. Almost every gun known to man was on this shelve.
Reaching for a shotgun and putting the ammunition in, I turned around to exit my room when all of a sudden I saw a familiar face.
KAI MARLEY: Hiya
I grilled him as he just smiled back at me.
KAI MARLEY: Hey can I hide in that safe with Brooklyn and Shawn? After all I am Brooklyn’s best friend, her ex-boyfriend that she likes to spend time with. I bet she will enjoy my company in there and I will make the two of them feel very safe.
Without hesitation, I blasted the shotgun right in his chest. It was an instant kill, as blood splattered all over the place I began to tea bag the shit out of him, just like I was playing Halo or something.
JAMES SHARK: Fuck you nigga, fuck you nigga, fuck you nigga.
Up and down I went right on his face. However the hooded members of the KKK had finally made their way upstairs. As dozens of them ran towards me to my room, I began shooting every last one of them with my shotgun.
Click Clack BOOM
Click Clack BOOM
Click Clack BOOM
They all began dropping like flies. As I looked around the room I could see that I could have very well killed all of them. There was none of them left, however suddenly, I heard a noise in the hallway. As I poked my head out, I could see that there was one more KKK member. Once he locked eyes with me, he didn’t wish to engage in violence, instead, he began to run down the stairs.
I wasn’t going to let him get off the hook that easy, I ran after him, jumping over the countless dead bodies as I tried to catch up to the guy.
COMMENTATOR: And now it is a game of cat and mouse!
The hooded man quickly stormed out the front door, I followed him right outside as we ran through the three burning crosses.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
My ankle bracelet began to sound as I was not supposed to leave my house on house arrest. I blocked the loud high pitched beeping sound out of my head as I tackled the mask man down. As I pulled his hood off of his head I could see who the man was… Steven Angel.
STEVEN ANGEL: David made me do it, I swear!
Left and right, left and right, I just kept swinging on his face as I felt my knuckles almost go through his skin. I got up off of him and picked him up so that he stood in front of me. As he wobbled from side to side, trying his best to keep balanced, I finished him off by turning him around and upper-cutting him right in the ass as I had a grenade in my hand.
As my hand left his ass, the grenade stayed in there, and he immediately blew up.
COMMENTATOR: WOW that was like something out of a movie! James Shark finishes off Steven Angel with some mortal kombat fatality type stuff!
I dropped onto my knees and raised my hands in victory as I could hear the fans chanting my name. “SHARKY, SHARKY, SHARKY, SHARKY”. Raising back up to my feet, I began to walk back to my house. My ankle bracelet was still beeping, as I made my way up the stairs.
Coming into my room, I kicked the carpet a few feet away from me as I opened the safe that Brooklyn and Shawn were in. However, something just didn’t add up, how did he get in there?
Kai Marley crawled up from the safe and gave me his hand.
KAI MARLEY: Hey, nice to meet you again.
JAMES SHARK: YOU FUCKING BITCH!
BROOKLYN CARTER: Ahhhhh!
I thought I had pushed Kai but instead I had really pushed Brooklyn. I didn’t realize that I was just dreaming. Brooklyn was probably trying to awake me and that’s when I pushed her. She almost stumbled down onto the floor from how hard I pushed her.
BROOKLYN CARTER: Damn what the fuck Shark!?
CLAYTON PARIS: Must’ve been one hell of a dream huh?
I couldn’t believe that I had fallen asleep. Now I remembered where we all were and what we were doing here before I got that wild dream. We all were here backstage at the debut show of Exile Vindication, we were all posted up in my locker room just hours away before the show started.
BROOKLYN CARTER: Anyways James.. I just wanted to wake you up to tell you that I should probably go over to London’s locker room and see how him and Anthony are doing…. I’ll see you out in the ring okay peanut?
CLAYTON PARIS: Peanut…
Clayton shook his head muttering as Brooklyn just ignored him. I nodded my head at Brooklyn as she smiled and kissed me on the forehead, making her way for the door.
JAMES SHARK: Hey tell them two buffoons not to fuck anything up tonight.
She rolled her eyes.
BROOKLYN CARTER: They won’t, I won’t let them, and you better not either.
JAMES SHARK: Pshhh
I threw my hand out at her.
JAMES SHARK: You know me better than that.
She laughed and walked out of the locker room door, closing it behind her. Now it was just me and Clayton who were alone in the locker room.
As I just sat on the bench that I was sleeping on just a few minutes ago, I finally came to realize how nervous I was for this match. This sure as hell wasn’t like my matches in Ultimate Glory, but it was just as important as those.
This would not only be the first time me and Brooklyn would be teaming up side by side, but the first time I step into the ring with London Carter.
Surely there would be a lot of tension in this match, and it was a match I couldn’t afford to lose right now. I had to come into Ultimate Glory with a lot of momentum, and a win over Loca and the Harts would definitely give me that.
CLAYTON PARIS: So… are you going to fuck this match up? Now that Brooklyn left I can finally ask you.
I gave Clayton a weird look on my face. He could tell that his question caught me off guard.
CLAYTON PARIS: Well before this was even announced you were already starting beef with both London and Anthony, and knowing you, I know you would rather send a message to London and Anthony by knocking either of them out cold rather than another win on your record.
The only way I could respond to him was by shrugging my shoulders, he was right. However this wasn’t the case tonight.
JAMES SHARK: I don’t need to send a message to either of them though. I’m going to defeat Steven Angel for that Freedom Championship, and if Anthony King defeats Hart, Anthony knows his Universal Title reign won’t last long cause I’ll be number one contender and I’ll beat him again. As for London, I’m pretty damn sure that in the back of his mind, he knows that I’m going to defeat him, he’s just doing a god job in playing it off.
CLAYTON PARIS: Well then what if they take a swing at you or something?
Again I shrugged my shoulders.
JAMES SHARK: I don’t know bruh, I mean you heard Brooklyn, she said she wasn’t going to let them to do that, and even if they did take a swing at me, that’s not me fucking up the match, that’s them fucking up the match. If they take a swing on me then I’m swinging back.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
The knocking on my locker room door caught both of our attentions. Clayton got up and walked over to the door, as he opened it halfway he began to whisper to the person who was behind the door for a few seconds before looking back at me.
CLAYTON PARIS: Shark would you be willing to do an interview?
JAMES SHARK: Is she hot?
CLAYTON PARIS: It’s a guy.
JAMES SHARK: Then tell him fuck no.
Clayton laughed out loud, giving me the thumbs up as he began to talk to the reporter who was behind the door. Instead of closing the door, Clayton looked back over at me.
CLAYTON PARIS: Are you sure you don’t want to go through with this? We have some time to kill anyways.
I looked over at the clock that was hung up on the wall. I forgot why we had even gotten here so early. There was about 4 hours till the show even started. As I looked back over at Clayton, I signalled him to bring the reporter in.
He opened the door wide, and allowed a reporter with two camera in to enter my locker room. As they began to set things up, I grabbed a small hand held mirror and began to check myself out.
REPORTER: James Shark, nice to meet you, are you ready to begin?
Without a verbal response, I put the mirror down and just nodded my head.
REPORTER: Ladies and Gentlemen, we are here live here in Times Square New York, just a few hours away from NLWF: Exile Vindication and joining us now is Mr.Trash Talk Royalty himself, James Shark!
The camera panned downwards, over towards me, I was still sitting down on the bench, equipped with my TTR attire.
I looked over at the camera, winking at it and smiled as the camera zoomed out and allowed the viewers watching exclusively online to see both me and the interviewer.
REPORTER: James Shark, a lot of questions to go over with and ask you, but right now only one comes to mind, how does it feel to be let out of your house for Exile Vindication?
I looked down at the floor laughing, once I looked back up at the reporter I began nodding my head.
JAMES SHARK: It feels good man, not to be outside cause of how cold it is but it’s good to be some place new other than my house or my gym.
The reporter now nodded his head back at me, agreeing with what I was telling him.
REPORTER: Right. Now James, you tweeted a few days back saying that you had woke up with a headache, a stomach ache and feeling nauseous. Just update on us on how you are feeling tonight and if you are ready to go?
I extended my arms out giving the reporter a weird looking smile
JAMES SHARK: Well I’m here aren’t I? I’m ready to go man, I also tweeted that there would be no excuses and that I would be ready for tonight. I’m not going to back out of a match due to a sickness, and by the way the sickness is gone, I’m 100% healthy.
REPORTER: We’re going to go off topic a moment here… you mentioned that you wouldn’t back out of a match. You are one of the very few men who has never backed out of a match. With that being said, what are your thoughts on Stefan Raab backing out of his match with Gunther, and the Ultimate Glory Main Event?
Shark groaned out loud at the thought of Stefan Raab.
JAMES SHARK: Bitch move, bitch fucking move. The guy not only backed out of the matches he had, but he quit the company. There is a reason why people criticize this sport so much and call it fake, scripted and all of that bullshit, it’s because of people like Stefan.
James shook his head, you could clearly see his frustration and pent up anger not just from the tone of his voice, but his facial expressions.
JAMES SHARK: People watch this sport, and they know that you have to have fucking balls to be in this sport. You go up against a high flyer and they will drop on you from a 20ft ladder, you go up against a hardcore type a guy and he will bash your face in with a steel chair. There are so much dangers in this sport so people know that you have to have a lot of guts to sign up for this, but then they see people like Stefan Raab. People like Stefan Raab who back out of matches and quit companies like it’s no big deal. People like Stefan Raab who run out of the ring and hide backstage when being called out. People like Stefan Raab who only have the balls to talk online but won’t do anything about the matter at hand when it’s brought up face to face. People see all of this and they think to themselves, “how can people do all this especially when the cameras are rolling” It’s sickening bruh. I feel like I’m getting sick all over again just thinking about the shit he pulled.
The reporter just kept nodding his head, trying to get a feel of what James Shark really meant.
REPORTER: So are you mainly upset because you feel like he gave this sport a bad name?
Quickly, Shark had an answer. He didn’t even have to think about it.
JAMES SHARK: I’m mainly upset because I wanted to knock him out at the Main Event. I said it week after week, day after day, I told the world that I would knock that pussy out cold. I already did it before and I knew that I could do it again, I was just one hundred percent, confident that I would be able to get to him before nobody else could and just back up all my talk towards him.
The reporter looked a bit confused once I said how confident I was.
REPORTER: Confident as always, but James, you are starting off the Ultimate Glory Main Event with Brenton Cyrus, a man that has won the whole match from start to finish before. What makes you say that you are confident you could’ve gotten to Stefan Raab before anyone else? What if Stefan was the last person to enter? Do you really think you’d be able to stop Brenton Cyrus?
Now James took a deep breath, and then slowly nodded his head.
JAMES SHARK: Not a lot of people realize this about me, and it’s weird because I prove it every single time but I deserve to be at this level, I was born to be on this level. I was meant to be able to have the ability to stop legends like Brenton Cyrus, so to answer your question, yes.
Clayton smiled at my answer as the interviewer just continued onwards.
REPORTER: While we are on the topic at backing out of matches, Cody Taylor was rumoured to return to the NLWF to face you, but now it seems as though he is joining up with Platinum Dynasty Wrestling.
I slowly nodded my head.
JAMES SHARK: Cody Taylor has and will always be a bitch. This is nothing new, this is just same old Cody Taylor. Acting all big and bad but out there secretly ducking people.
Me and Cody Taylor used to be boys, best friends, and even though our friendship got ended due to low amount of patience I had when I was locked up, I didn’t want to reach out to him to get back on that level with him. He showed me his true colors on being a bitch, there was a point in time where me and Ryan Hall were cool, but once I saw him to be a bitch, I ended any association I had with the guy.
REPORTER: Now let’s talk about another rumour, there are reportedly inside talks from the David Zombie/Steven Angel camp, claiming that he has gotten an injury, have you heard about this?
JAMES SHARK: Yea, I ain’t paying attention to it though because they’re just rumours. I think everyone is “injured” one way or another coming into a match. We all wrestle weekly and we don’t give our body enough time to recover. Injured or not, he’s losing his freedom championship.
REPORTER: Now why go after the freedom championship and put yourself in the position to have three matches? Why go through all that risk?
I couldn’t help but just put on a smirk on my face. A lot of people thought that I went through all this just to grab the championship that London had but it wasn’t about that. It was about something much bigger.
JAMES SHARK: Many people be telling me that I went through it to get London mad by trying to steal the title he felt he got robbed of, and you probably heard that too, but it isn’t about that.
REPORTER: Oh?
JAMES SHARK: It has something to do with him, but it’s not like that. You see all the insults I’ve been hearing lately is really repetitive and really boring, those insults are coming from two people, London Carter and Anthony King.
Everyone knew the same old insult that both of those niggas used on me, so it wasn’t a surprise to me that the reporter looked as if he knew what I was talking about.
JAMES SHARK: They say “Oh, James Shark you ain’t ever won an NLWF Title” they go like “Oh, James Shark, NLWF is the company that made you but you ain’t ever won gold” This bitch London tells me how he won the freedom championship in such a short amount of time but I have yet to win an NLWF title. All that talk is ignorant. I was only in the NLWF for four months or so back in 2009 before I walked out, and back then everyone knew I sucked. Hell even the fans and sponsors I had knew I sucked. The closest I got to a title back then was becoming the #1 contender for the NLWF Junior Heavyweight title, and even then I didn’t have a chance, I was horrible back in the day.
I didn’t care about talking about how badly I was when I debuted in the sport, it wasn’t any shame to me at all. I was a 21 year old thug with no wrestling experience or boxing experience. All I had on me was the experience I had in my street fights, and everyone knew a street fight was a lot different than a wrestling match. Someone takes you down to the floor in a street fight and they make you get back up. I had a lot of trouble with wrestlers in my debut, they would just take me down and throw me around the ring.
JAMES SHARK: This was an open invitational, and I jumped right for it. If the Universal Championship match was an open invitational too, you best believe I’d be booked for four matches. I did this to shut London and Anthony up. In this one night, they won’t have nothing on me, not a damn thing on me. Anthony already has a loss to me, and London is about to get a loss on me too, but my point is, neither of these two bitches will be able to talk about the lack of accomplishments I have in the NLWF, because after this one night on January 5th, I will have the most accomplishments anyone has ever gained in the history of the NLWF in one night. I will do what no NLWF star has ever done in one night, hell Ima do what no other wrestler in any other company has done. In this one night, I got the chance to walk out and end the night being the man to main event War Games, the new NLWF Freedom Champion, and the #1 contender to both the NLWF Championship and the NLWF Universal Championship. You better put your money on me taking this chance and going through with it, because once that happens, it only gets better. After it’s all said and done, I’m going to unify the Universal Championship with the Freedom Championship, and maybe even do the same thing to the main championship.
As the reporter listened to me, he waited till I was finished speaking for him to motion for me to wait a moment. It was then when he walked over to Clayton.
REPORTER: As James Shark’s trainer, I just wanted to ask you a quick question, based on the training and preparation he has had for Ultimate Glory, do you believe he has what it takes to pull this off?
Clayton rubbed on his chin, pretending as if it was a question he had to really think about for a moment. He put on a smirk on his face before answering.
CLAYTON PARIS: If any of James Shark’s opponents think that he is just sitting on house arrest all day, he has another thing coming. The first few weeks of training were rough, the results were poor with good reason. It was the first time he had trained in months, but as time went on, the results started to get better and better. What I’m about to say isn’t going to be to sell tickets or to get Ultimate Glory more hyped up then it already is, but I believe that you all will see the best James Shark to EVER grace the squared ring.
The reporter seemed to be highly interested considering the fact that Clayton had already said he wasn’t saying that to hype the event up. I smiled over at the two men, I believed exactly what Clayton said, I felt something in me that I have never felt before, I felt like I had all this power.
REPORTER: What makes you say that? Is there any improved changes you see in his game?
CLAYTON PARIS: Well I know most trainers say this about their fighter or wrestler before a match but I really and truly do see a FASTER James Shark, one that can leap in and leap out quicker than ever before. I see a STRONGER James Shark, one that can just muscle you up and keep you from taking him down to the mat. I see a REFOCUSED and a HUNGRY James Shark, and a refocused and hungry James Shark is a dangerous man for ANYBODY. His knockout power has improved drastically, his footwork is just off the top insane, and his new and improved wrestling skills that he will bring to the table for tonight and at Glory will have him hunting down his opponents anywhere the match goes.
REPORTER: Interesting….
The reporter walked back over to me as I was still seated on the bench.
REPORTER: Well James it will definitely be a historic night for you and a historic night in the NLWF if you can pull this off, but we’ll save any more of those questions once Exile Vindication is out of the way. You, London AND Anthony have all been going back and forth, threatening one another saying “don’t F this match up, or else” You responded in a calm respectful manner explaining that they could trust you tonight, but as soon as London said that he would be watching you, you threw respect out the window and started trash talking him again, why was that?
The answer was obvious… well at least to me it was.
JAMES SHARK: If you’re going to be “watching me” that’s you fucking up the match already. If I say you can trust me, you can trust me. Dude is probably going to spend more time watching me then watching the opponents and I don’t like that, cause If I have to carry this team just to share a win with them, I’ll take that loss just to beat some sense into their heads.
REPORTER: But how do you think that will sit with Brooklyn, she will be in the middle of it all!
JAMES SHARK: You know… I’m sorry that Brooklyn is in the middle, but at the same time, she signed up for it when she chose to be the reff in the match. Whatever happens is going to happen, anyone can get punched in the face at any moment in this match.
REPORTER: Including Brooklyn!?
I gave him a dirty look, he quickly looked away from me and down on his notepad.
REPORTER: Uhh… moving on then, earlier in the week, you tweeted Anthony King telling him that “MAYBE” you know something that they don’t and that “MAYBE” you got something up your sleeve, now are these real honest threats here? Or can they be described as you just kicking up the mind games a few notches?
Shrugging my shoulders I smiled, leaning into the microphone that he lowered onto me.
JAMES SHARK: We’ll find out in a few hours.
REPORTER: You also tweeted that you might punch London a few times in the face AFTER the match even after a win, so is this really happening or just mind games?
Again I shrugged my shoulders.
JAMES SHARK: Once again, you gon have to find out yourself in a few hours.
REPORTER: Okay fair enough, now you have history with all of your opponents in this match except for Caleb Hart. In IWF Loca was knocked out backstage and you came into the scene and stole her shoes, in IWF you also lost to Frank Hart, in a match where many people said you were injured in but either way, a loss is a loss.
All I did was nod my head, I couldn’t remember if I was injured or not, I was injured In a lot of matches but I never backed out. I wasn’t going to make excuses for myself.
REPORTER: And as for Robbie Hart, you beat him multiple times and even defeated him for the vacant High Impact Championship, and dropped the title on his chest just handing it over to him just like you said you would do in your promo. Does this make this match that more important with all the history you guys share, and what are your thoughts on Caleb?
JAMES SHARK: Well I don’t know the guy so I can’t give any thoughts out on him.
REPORTER: You… haven’t heard of him? Have you done any research on him to prepare for him just in case the two of you meet in that ring?
I shook my head.
JAMES SHARK: Nope
The reporter looked over at Clayton to see if I was lying or not, but Clayton nodded his head, going by what I was saying.
JAMES SHARK: I feel like… if I don’t know you, then I don’t need to be worried about you, point blank. As for your other question, history or not, every match is important to me.
Now the reporter sighed.
REPORTER: Well James, I just have one question to ask you, what’s going to happen in that ring in a few hours?
At first I didn’t know how to answer the question, but then the question itself brought a smile upon my face.
JAMES SHARK: Well either two things will happen…. One, this can easily be another win on my record. I can do what I do and that’s fight hard, fight smart and gain that 56th win on my record, OR, it can just be a fucking battlefield. I ain’t ready to take an ass whooping, I’m ready to give one out, and I’ll throw down with anyone who gets in my way, whether that be London or Anthony, it doesn’t matter…
REPORTER: But if you had to choose one of those choices for yourself on how the match should play out, which one would you pick?
JAMES SHARK: Honestly, If my tag partners want to turn into opponents, then I'm ready for a scrap, but It would be mad cool to end 2012 with only ONE loss on my record in that year.
I looked right into the reporter’s eyes.
JAMES SHARK: namsayin?
Scene Closes as you could hear Clayton’s laughter in the background.
