Meet The Parents (Last Part)

(The following occurs a just before the Revolution before Trial By Combat)

“So with just a few days before I make my way to the final Revolution in the World War Tour, I received a call from the foster home I was in when I was a baby. They told me that they had located my biological parents. I asked them where and they responded with the last place I would expect to hear, Faroe Island. I knew this wouldn’t end the way I would want meeting my biological parents would go since it turns out that I was born in the same country as Jason Hawk, a man I couldn’t even stand. The thing I didn’t see coming was the biggest shock of my entire life.”

I arrive at the address in Faroe Island that was given to me by the people at the foster home in Buffalo. I walk up to the front door and I’m about to knock on the door but I suddenly stop, I don’t know what to say to these people. My whole life I called two people who had adopted me mom and dad, and now I’m about to meet the two people who are actually my parents. Eventually I gain the courage by remembering that I came to find out everything and I knock on the door. After a few seconds the door opens and a woman opens the door.

:Woman:
We don’t want any.

:Ryan Apollos:
I’m sorry to bother you, but by some chance are you Annika?

:Annika:
Yes, I’m Annika. Why are you asking.

:Ryan Apollos:
My name is Ryan, and I’m your biological son.

:Annika:
What? I don’t understand, you can’t be my son.

:Ryan Apollos:
Close to 21 years ago you dropped off a baby at a foster home in Buffalo, New York, USA. Do you remember that?

:Annika:
Yeah I do remember that.

:Ryan Apollos:
I was that baby. You’re my mom and I’m your son.

:Annika:
Oh my, I don’t believe it!

Annika gives me a hug only a mom would give.

:Ryan Apollos:
Come now, let go. I wanted to come to meet my biological parents. And get some answers, there will be time for hugs later.

:Annika:
I understand that. I just never expected to see the one son I was unable to raise.

:Ryan Apollos:
One son? What do you mean?

:Annika:
Come in and I’ll tell you.

I enter the house and I see that the place is like what any house I’d expect to see in Faroe Island, quant. I sat down on the couch as Annika left the room for a few seconds and when she came backing there was a man with her. She sat down on the couch, the man held out his hand to me.

:Man:
Hello, I’m Hallgrim.

I shook the man’s hand.

:Ryan Apollos:
I’m Ryan.

:Hallgrim:
So your our son we had to give up twenty years ago?

:Ryan Apollos:
Yes I am.

:Hallgrim:
I had a feeling that we’d see you after you had grown up. Looks like you grew up to be a good person.

:Ryan Apollos:
You could say that. So exactly what did you mean when you said I was the one son you couldn’t raise?

:Annika:
We have two other sons. One is famous and is actually your twin brother and the other has disappeared and we’re worried about him.

:Ryan Apollos:
Who’s the one that’s famous. Maybe I’ve met him.

:Halgrim:
Everyone knows him as Jason Hawk. He’s a famous pro wrestler.

As Halgrim says his name, I threw up a little in my mouth. I couldn’t believe it, Jason Hawk is my brother! I never would have thought that one of my biggest rivals is actually related to me.

:Annika:
So have you met him?

:Ryan Apollos:
Yes and it’s a little more complex than just me having met him. I’ve fought him.

:Halgrim:
Huh?

:Ryan Apollos:
I’m a pro wrestler too and I’m apart of the same wrestling company as he is.

:Annika:
You mean to tell us your that Ryan Apollos person, Jason’s had some sort of rivalry with.

:Ryan Apollos:
Yeah, him and me never saw eye to eye.

:Annika:
I didn’t think you and him would end up in the same profession let alone the same wrestling company.

:Ryan Apollos:
I didn’t expect to find out that my biggest rival is actually my brother.

It was at that moment I realized that the person I helped kidnapped was not only Jason’s brother but also my brother as well. I couldn’t believe that I played a part in a relatives disappearance, it actually sickened me to think I do something like that, but then again I had no idea he was my brother at the time. I didn’t want to tell them this having just met them. Eventually I had to.

:Ryan Apollos:
I have one more question.

:Halgrim:
What is it?

:Ryan Apollos:
Why did you leave me at a foster home?

:Annika:
Well back when you and Jason were born, we had almost no money, we were completely poor. If we had kept both of you we wouldn’t be able to support both of you so despite the fact that we loved both of you equally we decided to give one of you up.

:Ryan Apollos:
So I was the pick to never know my parents.

:Annika:
It was difficult but didn’t you get adopted by a good family?

:Ryan Apollos:
Yeah, actually I did. I’ve had a good family that treated me as one of their own though they kept this secret from me until now. It’s still tough for me to take it all in.

:Annika:
I see what you mean.

:Ryan Apollos:
I just wish I had known about this long ago.

:Annika:
We do regret giving you up as well. But at least you were able to grow up with a loving family.

:Ryan Apollos:
My life hasn’t exactly been all positives. But I’ll tell you two about that later.

Screen fades.

-The Match-

TJ Tilli, the man who just three weeks ago I demolished in a warm up match for the Hawk’s Nest match that I would have won if Jason didn’t use that taser again. But now I face the so called Australian Assailant. Do you even have any idea who your facing at Trial by Combat? Your facing the person who coined the term Legend Slayer. You might be the most unusual wrestler in NLWF. One week you show up to fight and then the next you get the crap beat out of you. I find it strange how your able to even assume that you can beat me when your facing the former World Heavyweight Champion and the only man to single handedly hold both tag team championship belts, add to that I never truly lost the belts. I’ve done so many things here, and that includes being one of the lucky few to actually defeat Brenton Cyrus. What exactly have you done? I’ve never seen you do anything good. You had a chance to become Dream Champion and you failed at that, so what in your mind would make you even begin to think I’m going to be an easy win. Your not even going to win anyways.

Then we have Aksel and Dean Diamond. Aksel seems like some fool who’s fooled himself into thinking he’s a descendent of some Norse myth. And Dean Diamond probably thinks he’s going to win all because he got some action with Alison. So what, I’ve heard she’s slept with guys who have more talent in their pinkie finger than you do in your whole body, I don’t need to do that, in fact I don’t have to do that. I’ve got the advantage in this tournament for a number of reasons, one is my experience in NLWF is far greater than all three of you guys and then there’s the fact that the tournament was my idea to begin with. So you people better get ready to face the one true Legend Slayer and get slayed by “The Slayer” himself.
