Meet the Parents

-After Revolution-

KID and Brooke were driving to Brooke’s parents house. KID was quite nervous about meeting the Parents. He had met his girl friends parents twice before in his life, and they didn’t turn out too good at all! They finally arrived to the Brooke’s parent’s house. It was a great house, hey must be rich. It had a big driveway, which was like a semi-circle. KID pulled in.

Brooke
Okay, KID. My Mom’s name is Trish. My Dad’s is Andrew. And my brother is Adam. Yes, it may be weird that my brother still lives with them, but he is 17.

KID nodded his head. His heart was beating at like 300 beats per minute. They knocked at the door, then Adam answered.

Adam
Brooky!!!!!!!!!! Oh, who is this guy…

KID
I’m the Notorious K.I.D, Brooke’s boyfriend. Nice to meet you.

KID went to shake Adam’s hand. Adam went in for the shake but then pulled out.

Adam
Haha! Who do you think I am, the hand shaking machine?

KID looked at him strangely, then Brooke rolled her eyes. Adam walked away, and then Brooke whispered in KID’s ear.

Brooke
Yeah, he’s a bit… Different.

KID walked in. Brooke’s mom came up to them and hugged Brooke.

Trish
So nice to see you darling! Oh, and nice to meet you KID!

KID
Thanks, you too!

Brooke
Hey mom! You look great!!

Trish smiled

Trish
Thank you darling! Here, come in!

They walked into the dining room. There was a lovely dinner set up, and Andrew was reading the paper. He looked at KID, he frowned, then looked at Brooke.

Andrew
Brooke! How are you?

Brooke
I’m great thanks Dad! This is KID!

KID
Hello Andrew, nice to meet you!

Andrew
Yeah.

Andrew continued reading the paper. KID and Brooke sat at the table. Adam sat down at the opposite end to KID. He was flicking peas at him. Finally Trish came in. They all started eating dinner.

Trish
So KID, you wrestle do you?

KID
Yeah, every week!

Andrew
I hate wrestling!

KID suddenly felt sad. Her Dad hated him.

Adam
Wrestling is for Pussies!

KID couldn’t see how it was pussy, when you have to beat up your opponent. There was awkward silence for a while. KID went to pick up his glass of red wine. It slipped through his fingers, and smashed over the table. It splattered in Andrew’s face. Brooke laughed at KID. Red wine covered the table.

KID felt so embarrassed.

KID
I’ll clean that up!

Trish
No, don’t worry KID, I’ll do it!

KID
Ok, Sorry

Trish
Don’t be, it’s just a little spill.

It was a massive red patch on an obviously expensive table.

After dinner KID and Brooke went up to bed. KID was stressed out a bit, he didn’t make a great first impression, especially on her father. So he planned to make some effort to talk to him tomorrow.

KID
I don’t think your Dad likes me.

Brooke
Don’t worry about him! He never likes any of my boyfriends.

They fell asleep. The next thing KID knew he was being whacked in the face by a pillow. He opened his eyes. It was Adam.

Adam
Wake up you faggot, breakfast!

KID
Sorry, must’ve slept in.

KID looked around to see if anyone was around. He picked up Adam and put him up against the wall. Adam was screaming.

KID
Don’t call me faggot, buddy!

Suddenly Trish and Andrew both walked in. They stared in shock at KID. KID slowly put Adam down.

KID
Ha… Ha… Umm, Yeah, Adam, that’s how I beat umm… Ryan, Apollos…

Adam
NO! HE WAS TRYING TO BEAT ME UP!

Trish shook her head at KID. Andrew looked quite angry. KID went down for Breakfast, Brooke was there. And KID sat next to her. She looked at KID.

Brooke
Do you like it here?

KID
Umm, it’s nice!

Brooke
Yeah, it is!

KID looked outside. Brooke’s Dad was building a gate at the front of the garden out of bricks. KID knew it would be the perfect time to have a chat with him. He got up, and went outside. Andrew looked over at KID, then continued what he was doing.

KID
Need any help?

Andrew gave KID a tool.

Andrew
Hold that.

KID was just waiting there, watching Andrew. He was throwing up and catching the tool.

KID
Nice day!

Andrew nodded. KID just kept throwing the tool. He threw it up, and it went a bit too far, he went to grab it, then tripped over. He knocked down the whole wall. KID quickly jumped up.

KID
SORRY!

Andrew
GO INSIDE MATE!!!

KID quickly went inside. He felt terrible. When he opened the door. There dog went running outside, and onto the road. KID tried to chase after it, but then it crossed a busy road. Trish ran out.

Trish
NO!!! MISSY!

KID went back to the door.

KID
Does she ever come back?

Trish had tears running down her eyes. KID felt even worse. Brooke came running up.

Brooke
KID, What did you do?

KID
The dog got out!

Brooke
Oh no! Go out in the car and look for it!

KID went out, and got into Brooke’s car. He drove around the streets looking for the dog. He was out for about 10 minutes. When he got a phone call from Brooke.

[Ring… Ring… Ring]

KID
Brooke?

Brooke
The dog is back in the yard; we are just trying to round her up, come home!

KID
Ok!

KID turned around and drove home, he felt a bit better now. He pulled into the driveway, and suddenly the dog ran in front of the car.

BANG

KID had run over the dog. Trish cried out loud, and so did Brooke! KID had ruined everything; this was the worst time of his life. Adam came running out, and started yelling at KID. KID put his head down. And the horn beeped loudly. He stepped out of the car. Andrew and Trish were staring at KID. Trish had tears running down her eyes.

KID
I… am so sorry!!!

Brooke
It’s okay KID. We had better leave now.

KID walked inside, Adam bumped him.

Adam
Nice going dick head!

KID and Brooke grabbed there stuff, and said their good byes. They were driving home.

KID
Why did I make such a fool of myself?

Brooke
You were just nervous KID. Don’t worry, next time will be better!

KID drove home. He made such a fool of himself. And felt terrible. At least he still had the No Limit championship! They came into the city then drove into their house.

Brooke
Don’t hit any dogs!

Brooke laughed and KID stared at her.

Brooke
Too soon?

KID
Yeah!

They went inside and Maddox and Hana were inside playing monopoly. They seemed to be having fun. KID just went straight up to bed. He was quite angry with himself.

Well, Shadow, the fans have spoken. They want to see KID [vs] SD for the fourth time, except of course. This time will be different. You are a man that doesn’t really care about matches that don’t matter. But when something is on the line, you are almost unbeatable! And you have shown that the three times I have faced you Shadow. You earnt my respect from the word go! As a young wrestler I looked up to you. I watched every one of your matches!!

-But now I’m at your level-

KID
Now Shadow. I’m at the same level as you. I have showed I can beat people as high as you! I beat Aaron. I beat Chuck! Next on my list is you. And I’m finally going to take out the Undisputed Championship. So many times I’ve tried. And all those times I’ve failed. Because like I said. You always step up to the challenge. I’m not saying I didn’t. I pushed you each time! I made you step up! If you didn’t, I would be holding that Undisputed Championship right now!

KID
This is the first time I have been one on one with you, and it’s fair. The last time I went one on one with you in the ring, was my fourth match, and what do you expect. I tried, but I wasn’t good enough! I didn’t have the experience at performing at a high level like you. But now I do Shadow! I am a main eventer! It’s my pride to perform at a high level, that’s what makes KID today! Watch yourself Shadow! Because I am on a roll. You saw me at the last PPV. I ran rampage, and I plan to do exactly the same.

This match will be full of respect. I respect you Shadow! And I know you respect me! And I can’t wait to face you once again! But I will have to win! I’m going to head out of Majority Rules with my No Limit Championship and the Undisputed! KID will run rampage again! Watch out!
