■†■
Brenton Cyrus opens his eyes, looking up at the ceiling of his new Hollywood Mansion. This was his third home in just two years in California, having had one of his places burned to the ground, while the other was blown up by Bad Company at the beginning of summer. It was the perfect sacrifice to throw everyone off of the real plan that was happening, the plan of Bad Company NLWF dominance.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
You awake?
He looks to his left at a lump in the bed next to him, a blanket throw over to conceal the identity of the other person.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
Megan, wake up.
Megan O’Day pulls the pillow off of her head and pushes the blanket off of her. She looks around, trying to figure our where she is, a lost expression on her face until she looks at Brenton.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
Morning.
Megan stretches in the bed, then begins to rub the sleep from her eyes. She pulls herself up in the bed and sits back. The room is practically empty, just a large mattress in the middle of the room, a few boxes in the corner.
Megan O’Day
I’m glad I helped you move in…. Happy Birthday Brenton.
Brenton smirks. He looks at her, love in his eyes.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
By helping me move in, did you mean watching as the movers brought in the boxes?
Megan looks at Brenton, rolling her eyes.
Megan O’Day
No, I meant having sex with you.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
Was that my birthday gift?
Megan O’Day
Maybe.
She stands up, then walks over to grab her clothes, scattered across the floor. She pulls up her panties, looking at Brenton who stares at her.
Megan O’Day
What?
Brenton shakes his head. He stands up and walks around the bed.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
You’re beautiful. I’m glad you helped me too.
He kisses Megan on the cheek.
Megan O’Day
You missed.
She grabs Brenton by the back of his neck with one hand, then pulls him down into a lip lock. They make out for a few minutes, until the sounds of crying are heard coming from a different room.
Megan O’Day
Looks like junior is up.
Megan goes to walk away but Brenton grabs her wrist.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
Move in with me.
Megan looks at Brenton, her eyes wide. She can tell he’s serious about it, but she’s unsure. She looks down at his hand on her wrist, then she looks at the bedroom door.
Megan O’Day
I need to check on him, we’ll talk about this later.
Brenton releases her wrist and she quickly walks out of the room. He grabs his boxers and puts them on, then pulls on a pair of jeans. He feels his phone vibrate inside his pocket and he looks around confused. He reaches into his pocket, then pulls out his phone and looks at it to see he has six missed calls.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
Damn.
Brenton goes to his voicemail and makes the call. He waits and listens to his messages. His expression changes as he listens to the first message. A look of fear crosses his face and his moth drops open. Megan enters the room, their baby boy in her arms, breastfeeding.
Megan O’Day
What’s wrong?
Brenton looks at her slowly. He lowers the phone, then he slides it into his pocket.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
Alison…
Megan O’Day
You ASSHOLE, YOU CALLED ME ALISON!
Brenton motions with his arm for her to calm down.
■†■ Brenton Cyrus ■†■
No! I’m telling you. Alison, she’s in the hospital….
To Be Continued…
■†■ The Match ■†■
■†■ Matt Biggars [vs] TJ Tilli [vs] Brenton Cyrus ■†■
I don’t have to win this match. Truth be told, I don’t have to win any match or really do anything, if I don’t feel like it. I’m one of the richest men to ever fight in the NLWF, having almost made one billion dollars in my lifetime.
I’M ONLY 21 YEARS OLD!
I’ve done things already in my lifetime that have made me legendary. I’ve made movies that were and still are money making juggernauts. I’ve held all three major titles in the No Limit Wrestling Federation, having broken all the records as the World Champion.
No one, will ever, be able to take away from or remove the things I’ve done. The mark I’ve made on history. On an industry that was otherwise dead.
When, before NLWF, was professional wrestling at a point this high? Fifteen years ago? When I was a small child? That’s the last time I remember wrestling being the best sport in the entire world. Now, because of the NLWF, because of the impact I’ve made, the fame I carried into this company, professional wrestling is as popular as ever.
More specifically, NLWF is as popular as ever. The #1 combat sport in the entire world! Bad Company has brought back that level of entertainment that the NLWF is known for.
Now with Bad Company so close to the final goal of a fully united NLWF, you look at my match this week, the NLWF Title match at Seven Sins, the NLWF title match this week, you start to see something. We’re right at the door, we’re right where we intended to be, we’ve taken over.
It’s all Bad Company!
This week I’m in a match with two titles on the line. If I pin Matt Biggars, I become the Rising Star Champion. If I can pin TJ Tilli, I become the Junior Heavyweight Champion for a second time. Anyone else would see this as a demotion to a guy like me, but I see it as an opportunity.
I’m stepping in with two of the best members of Bad Company. Two champions who are currently ranked higher than I am on the power rank. I’ve only just broken back onto the list and already I have a chance to bump either the number 4 or number 5 guy in the company.
Winning the Rising Star Championship immediately puts me back where I wish to be. On the path to defending it five times and getting a chance to become Undisputed Champion.
That’s my goal now. To become the Undisputed Champion, the one and only belt I’ve never gotten to enjoy. This is going to be a long road, but what better place to begin that the Road to the City of Evil. Last year at this show I was defending the World Title against the first Rising Star Champion, Ryan Apollos.
This year, Road to the City of Evil will start my road back to major title glory. My birthday snapped me out of the trance I’ve been in. I realized that I and no goals for myself and really didn’t have a reason to fight. I was just showing up every week to do my part, but not to win.
I’m here to win again.
So which one of you wants to not be the loser, I guess is the only question I have for you. Which one of you wants to be pinned by me, to lose your belt to me, and which one f you wants to be the third wheel?
Those are the only two options, because neither of you are walking away as a double champion this week.
You both have been extremely impressive. You have earned a shot to be a part of Bad Company. But while you deserve to be in the position you are in, neither of you has show me you have what it takes to win a triple threat match, with me in it.
TJ Tilli no one ever thought you would make it into the top five of this company. In fact, if anyone ever said that TJ Tilli and Matt Biggars would have broken the top five in the NLWF, I would have kicked then to the skull right then and there.
But here we are, the early half of October and the two of you sit at the top of the mountain.
I look forward to this match. I look forward to getting back to my winning ways. I look forward to being a double champion once again. Because Brenton Cyrus not in the top five, is a crime to the NLWF. It’s not fair to the fans who want and deserve to see my at my best.
Ask and you shall receive.
The best Brenton Cyrus is yet to come.
Sit back and watch on in awe as I shoot back to the top.
Where I belong.
