Everything seemed to be going according to plan. I came out aggressive and looked to take an early advantage over The Notorious K.I.D. I had him where I wanted him, and was hitting more and more moves. The World Heavyweight Championship was coming home, I was sure of it. KID started hitting some moves and sent me into the corner, then lifted me to the top rope. I was able to shove him off but he dropkicked me to my knee, sending me falling from the top turnbuckle, all the way down to the announce table.

Backstage after War Games everything seemed… well, I failed. I let everyone who thought I would take back the World Championship down, and my knee didn’t even hurt anymore. I sat in my locker room, wondering what the hell happened out there.

I ignored him, pulling off my elbow pads, then unraveling the tape from around my fists. I assumed he would tell me anyway, so I didn’t waste my breath talking to someone who wasn’t even there.

Some people called our match at War Games, a dramatic roller coaster ride, that they thought would never end! I've watched it so many times, and no matter how many times I see it, I can't believe I lost. War Games was supposed to be my night, the night I earned by winning the Ultimate Glory Battle Royal.

I waited patiently for my shot, and when I finally made it, I fell short. It sucks, and I hate it! I wish I could rewind, and try again. I know for a fact I can beat you KID, I just don't know why I couldn't beat you at War Games. But just like I give to everyone, I'm getting a second chance at this.

The World Heavyweight Title is returning to me this week, and nothing will be able to help you this time, not a knee injury, nothing!
