Stuck In The Mud

>Monday January 11th, 2010<
>Showtime Arena in Los Angeles<

Scene: Ryan Apollos is seen in his locker room looking at the floor. Just then he hears a knock on the door, he looks up and sees Randy Cunning standing there.

Randy: Looks like you let him out.

Ryan: It wasn’t my choice.

Randy: You’ve got to get him under control. All the help I gave you will be for not if you let that power hungry jackass consume you again.

Ryan: I know, I know. How am I going to explain this to Andrea, she has to know soon for her own good.

Randy: You have to wait till the timing is right.

Ryan: What timing, you mean when I’m standing over yet another grave cause that asshole clouded my sight. I already lost Alexis cause of him, I’m not going to lose another.

Randy: Well then you tell her whenever you feel like the timing is right.

Ryan: The timing has always been right, I’ve been stuck on deciding weather or not to though.

Randy: Well then I guess the next time you see her you should tell her.

Ryan: I know. I need to shower off.

Randy: One more thing, did you hear what your match is next week?

Ryan: No, I haven’t had the time to go find out.

Randy: Your in a tag team match for the Undisputed Tag Titles.

Ryan: Okay so I’m facing Ridicule and Matthews, but who’s my partner?

Randy: Well you’re going to flip when you hear this.

Ryan: Who is it?

Randy: Brenton Cyrus.

Apollos’ eyes widen when he hears the name. Apollos obviously remembers the rivalry him and Cyrus had when he joined NLWF. Apollos smiles and begins to laugh.

Ryan: So what you are telling me… Is that I am teaming with Brenton Cyrus, to take on Nick Ridicule and Chris Matthews? What else don’t I know, did hell freeze over? Are pigs flying? Did we finally find out why the chicken crossed the road? Me and Brenton had issues when I signed with NLWF, mainly me calling Brenton a false god.

Randy: I think you need to find him and make amends for all the shit you did with Lethal Injection and maybe he’ll do the same for you.

Ryan: Yeah, he might but I did do everything short of actually killing him, while Brenton came a few minutes short of killing Alexis.

Randy: Corey did finish the job, but he’s going the route Brenton didn’t want him to take. So you and Brenton have some sort of common ground, you both want to stop Corey Casey.

Ryan: You are correct, but finding Brenton isn’t going to be easy.

Randy: Just wait, I have a feeling he’ll find you. Just be patient.

Ryan: That’s easy for you to say, I’m not a patient kind of person, you of all people should know that.

Randy: Your right, I one of the few that knows just how impatient you can truly be. Well then I’ll let you get cleaned up.

Randy leaves the room as Apollos walks into the showers as the screen fades

Ryan Apollos is downstairs in the basement. Taking things down from the room he used for “certain things” when he was the Vampire Lord. He stops when he grabs a picture of him and Alexis. He looks at it, tears form in his eyes. He drops into a chair and just sits there.

Ryan: I still can’t believe your gone. Corey’s gone off the deep end.

“He must pay Ryan, let me out and I can help you get revenge.”

Apollos drops the photo, which breaks as it hits the floor, and holds his head.

Ryan: You aren’t doing anything. I’m going to do things my way so just give up already, you busted out once and I won’t let you do that again.

“You are weak without me to help you.”

Ryan: No matter what you do, I won’t let you free.

Apollos leaves the room and heads upstairs. He reaches upstairs and he sees Andrea sitting in a chair.

Ryan: What are you doing here?

Andrea: I got a message from Randy saying you had something to tell me.

Ryan: Why can’t he ever let me take care of my business.

Andrea: So what was it you wanted to tell me?

Apollos sits down next to her.

Ryan: I’ve been hiding something from you ever since we me.

Andrea: What have you been hiding?

Ryan: Well you’ve heard of people having two sides like a coin?

Andrea: Yeah.

Ryan: Well I have the same thing.

Andrea: You mean there’s another side of you?

Ryan: That’s not necessarily what I meant. I mean I have a split personality.

Andrea: What?

Ryan: When that accident occurred last month, the Legend Slayer, what I was known as split himself from me in a way. It’s like that angel and devil thing on people’s shoulders. The person you saw on Revolution was not the real me, it was the Legend Slayer trying to break free. I’ve been trying to stop him from coming out, but there have been moments in which he’s forced his way out and I can’t stop him. I couldn’t tell you cause I feared for your safety if you knew.

Andrea: But not telling me is far worse than letting me know. How could you not tell me and expect I would be safe.

Ryan: I don’t know, I was foolish for not telling you in the first place.

Andrea: You just have to realize that there are people that care about you and would help you at any given time you need it.

Ryan: Thanks for understanding Andrea.

Andrea: It’s no trouble at all, I’m just glad to be of assistance.

Apollos gives Andrea a hug and she leaves as the screen fades.

-The Match-

Did hell freeze over? That seems to be the billion dollar question, because that’s what millions of people seem to be thinking cause of the face since this week we will see, for the first time in the history of mankind, Ryan Apollos and Brenton Cyrus team up for a massive tag match against the tag team champions, Nick Ridicule and Chuck Matthews.

Now I have faced all three men involved in this match, but now I’m on the same side as Brenton. A few months ago this was unheard of and now it is reality rather than a dream tag team. The funny thing is all four of us have a common enemy, his name is Corey Casey. But before we can even deal with him I have to team with Brenton while Nick and Chuck put those titles on the line for the first time since gaining the belts in that epic TLC match while I was missing.

2010 is a new beginning for all and I feel like it’s time to truly begin to make amends for what I’ve done since joining NLWF and it begins this Monday when the tag titles go up for grabs. So it’s time to find out if I still have what I had when I joined NLWF.
