Hawk's Nest

-Dane Mark’s Car, Driving Home from Aspen-

KID was cruising in Dane Mark’s car down a highway. He had cruise control keeping the speed at 60 Miles per Hour. The car was really smooth and had obviously been treated well. It was almost 6 PM at night. And was almost getting dark out, And KID was getting a bit sleepy. He was taking tablets called NoDoze to keep him awake. And he had the music up really loud in the car. He wound down his window to let some cool air through. He saw a windy road ahead sign. So he turned his head lights to high beam. He was driving through the windy roads. It was a dirt road swell. So rocks were flicking up and around the tires.

He came across a ditch in the ground. KID slowed down a little. A rock flicked up and hit the windscreen. It left a mark, but at least it didn’t smash. He came across another ditch. Except this time a big rock flicked up. It smashed the left headlights. And it flicked off.

KID
SHIT!

KID could only see the side of the road he was on. He started to worry. He could hear a squealing noise come from not too far away. It was a car doing a burnout. It was getting closer and KID started to panic. KID could just see the car. It slammed right into the front bumper of Dane Marks car. The airbag came out and KID wasn’t hurt. Somehow. KID got out of the car. He was pissed off. It wasn’t his fault.

KID
WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?

Random Guy
I’m sozzy duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude.

KID
Are you high?

Random Guy
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

KID
Are you drunk?

Random Guy
I’m not drunk....... I’m just a bit TIPSY!

KID
Come on man. What are we going to do we can’t just stay here. Have you got your Cell phone?

Random Guy
Where’s yours?

KID checked his pockets. He remembered he went to SCWF to grab his Cell. But he got caught up in the Karnage and Shadow Demon business.

KID
Just give me yours man.

The drunken man past over a Nokia. Like KID’s. KID took it. He knew Brook’s number off by heart. He dialled the number.

[Ring...Ring...Ring]

Brooklyn
Uhh, Hello?

KID
Brook! It’s KID!

Brooklyn
Hey babe, did you buy a new phone. Why are you talking so loudly?

KID
I just had a car accident Brook.

KID was breathing heavily from shock of the car accident.

Brooklyn
Oh gee! Are you alright?

KID
Yeah I’m fine. I just really need to talk to Dane. It’s his car.

Brooklyn
Here, I’ll give you his number.

Brook read his number out to KID. He wrote it down on a small piece of paper he had in his pocket. He dialled Dane’s number. He was scared at what Dane would have to say. Did it have insurance?

[Ring...Ring...Ring]

Dane Marks
Hello, It’s Dane.

KID
Dane...

Dane Marks
Yes KID?

KID
I had an accident...

Dane Marks
In my car!??!!??!?!?

KID
Yes. But he crashed into me. It wasn’t my fault at all!

Dane Marks
Dammit KID. I knew I shouldn’t leant you my car!

KID
I’m sorry dude. I’ll say it again. He was drunk. And he crashed into me!

Dane Marks
Where are you?

KID
I’m about half an hour out of the City at the moment.

Dane Marks
We’ll get out there.

KID was left to wait with the drunk dude that didn’t give a shit. He was waiting for a while. Then the drunk guy finally spoke. He was looking at him.

Drunk Guy
Are you that gangster Rapper?

KID
No.

Drunk Guy
Ok

KID laughed. This guy was an ass. About 15 minutes later Dane, Brook, and some policemen came to the scene. Dane got out. He looked at the car and shook his head. Brook came running up to KID. She was just happy that he wasn’t hurt. She hugged him. It was cold and KID was shivering. The policemen gave the young man a breath test. He was way over the limit. And was taken away by the officers. Finally Dane came up to KID. He didn’t look as angry as he was before.

Dane Marks
I believe you now KID. He was drunk and I have insurance.

KID
That’s cool. I’m so sorry man.

Dane took them back into the city. He was in a different car. Nowhere near as nice as his other one. KID felt so bad. But he just had to deal with it. When they got in KID laid down on his bed. He was tired.

Brooklyn
So, What were you doing in Aspen?

KID
Not much really.

Brooklyn
Well. I’ll believe you. I guess.

KID laughed at her. He went to sleep pretty quickly as he was so tired. When he woke up. He could hear everyone awake down stairs. He slowly got up. His eyes half closed. And he went downstairs. Everyone was awake eating there breakfast, and talking. KID waited by the door.

Brooklyn
I feel sorry for KID. That Ryan won’t give him the briefcase after KID beats him! He may as well go for another title.

Maddox Li
Why doesn’t he go for the No Limit, he could team up with me.

Brooklyn
Is he allowed to do that?

At that KID walks in.

Brooklyn
How long have you been here.

KID
Long enough to know Ryan Apollos is a bitch. Maddox, that is a great Idea! Me and you would easily be able to team up against the guys! Hell, why don’t we go to Liberation Arena and practice the Hawk’s Nest match?

Maddox looked up with a smile.

KID
I’m guessing that’s a yes. I’m sure they would have the equipment for a Hawk’s Nest.

Brooklyn
That sounds good.

KID
Well. I will get ready. And we should go over there soon.

KID went back upstairs and got in the shower. He then got dressed and came back down. He knew Ryan Apollos wasn’t going to give him much of a challenge. So this match would be perfect to show his skills. And his new finisher. Maddox was ready as well. KID went outside, then remembered where he left his Golf Cart. He and Maddox walked to the place. Coincidentally, there was a gas station close by. So, he filled it up. Then they went over to the Liberation Arena. No cars were there. KID got his keys out and opened the door.

Maddox went in. Then KID followed. KID flicked on some lights and the place looked great. Liberation Arena was awesome! KID and Maddox walked down the entrance gate. Maddox was pretending his entrance was playing, and doing some taunts. KID laughed at him then went backstage. He looked in a closet. There were four big poles. Looked a bit like the ones they put around the Hawk’s Nest. He also found the ropes that went in a cross on top of the ring.

KID
This place has everything!

He carried them out to the arena. Maddox looked at him. A look that said. ‘This place does have everything!’ The was little section on each corner where you would pull out a lid. And you could put the posts in. He connected the ropes to the posts, and it was perfect. Maddox climbed in the ring and checked it out.

Maddox Li
So this is like the Hawk’s Nest?

KID
Just about.

KID climbed one of the posts. He started to hang on the ropes. He went forward then back. It was hard as the rope in the middle dented down when weight was put on it. Maddox got on one and he was trying as well. It wasn’t much trouble for KID as he was athletic around the ring. Maddox didn’t seem to have any trouble either. It wasn’t long before they were both climbing along the ropes really quickly. And easily. KID jumped off the rope.

KID
It’s pretty easy after a while!

Maddox
Yeah, it is.

KID and Maddox didn’t train for much longer. They were quite good at it already. And it would help them out a lot in the match ahead.

Maddox Li
So, are we going to team up?

KID
Yeah man. We will destroy everyone else!

Maddox looked happy. They walked out the Stadium. Then KID locked it up. They got into KID’s golf art and drove home. Brook and Hana weren’t home yet. From shopping or whatever.

KID
I guess we are home alone. I’m going to get some sleep.

Everyone knew Ryan Apollos would be no match for me. So I’m entering in the Hawk’s Nest match. Here’s why I shall win.

-Nick Ridicule-

KID
Nick Ridicule doesn’t even want to win this match. He has an NLWF Championship match to worry about first. Hell, If he wanted to win the match, he would probably take it out no worries, but to me, he couldn’t care less about this championship.

-Neo Kabayashi-

KID
Neo is a great wrestler. But where is he. I haven’t seen him for weeks. I mean, I haven’t been wrestling because of injury. But this guy is just nowhere to be seen.

-Dylan Evans-

KID
Dylan Evans is a good young wrestler. But that’s his problem, he is young. He doesn’t know what to do against big names like me, or Nick. I don’t think he will do much in this match. He has impressed me a few times, but I don’t think he can overcome all the other wrestlers in the ring.

-Jason Hawk-

KID
Jason Hawk is yet again young. And yet again confident. He hasn’t got anything on me. He hasn’t beaten any opposition yet. Hell, He hasn’t even had the chance to face an opposition. So Jason, this week is your chance. Impress me.

-Maddox Li-

KID
Maddox and I are going to win this match with ease. The team of him and I would be unbeatable against everyone else in this ring. We have practised, and we know how to win. You guys have to watch out, because Maddox and I are going to take this out!

KID
Who is this guy? Why does he have a championship match?

-Steven Angel-

KID
Steven. You may feel proud of yourself for breaking bones and the still wrestling. But seriously. Dave Zombie. The only person you can almost beat is him? That is just bad man. If you think you are close to beating me or Maddox, you are very wrong.

-Dave Zombie-

KID
‘I am the one to fear in this match.’ You say. What would we fear? Your face. Dude, you suck balls, I don’t think there is any reason you should be in this match. When you get onto those ropes they will probably snap!

He still wrestles? This dude should be in a retirement home!

He isn’t even in the NLWF.

KID
That is why I and Maddox will win this match. It won’t be hard. Then straight after I will destroy that douche Ryan Apollos! This week has been easy for me. But I’m still busting my ass. It could, but won’t, be one of my last matches. So I’m going to win, And give the crowd what they want. This week, won’t be my last. I will walk out with the Golden Grown piece of shit championship. And one half of the No Limit, along with Maddox. So you guys watch out. Because now, you have an opposition.
