The All-Star Wrestling Alliance was doing their Pay-Per-View in Pittsburg, Since they came to watch the NLWF perform at God of War, I decide to go and watch them debut on the Indy scene. Plus I had to get the riot off of my mind. The back of my head looked awful, I never got it stitched up after the show, I just tried to escape. I arrived at the arena and stepped out of my rented car. I got cheered as I walked down into the arena, I waved my hand. I thought everyone had forgot about what happened in Philly.

I walked up to Bryan Pryce and Hunter Washington who were hanging out.

How’s it going man, respect man.

I shook hands with both men then continued on into the arena. Everyone seemed casual, no one paid any additional attention to me then was necessary.

Before the show I could tell several people were nervous, you could really see it in their eyes. I got everyone together for a speech before the show.

Listen, it takes a ton of hard work to make it in the wrestling business, you have to start off from the bottom if you truly want to make it to the top, believe me. I’ve watched people come it and get pushed like there is no tomorrow, but it makes people lazy. You have to work nonstop to make it, to achieve the dream of being able to say that you are one of the best in the entire world. Tonight is the beginning of your path, tonight is your version of my New Era pay per view that I shocked the world at. It’s time for you guys, to shock the world! Good luck everyone and God bless.

I could see the confidence level rise right before my very eyes, people couldn’t help but follow me, I was one of the greatest leaders on earth. I walked into the actual arena and took a look at the ring, I looked around, they had the place done nicely for an Indy Pay Per View. Large banners with each one of the ASWA wrestlers hung from the ceiling. The stage was small, with a plain black curtain, but it maximized seating capacity that way. I was front row dead center, I hated being alone however, I wished that Aaron O’Shea was able to come with me, but he was handling business for the NLWF. I looked at his empty seat, thoughts of the riot crept into my head.

“We Need Help!”

I shook my head as more and more fans began entering the small indy show arena. Everyone who was in my general area wanted to take a picture with me, I stood up and took a few pictures, signed a few autographs, then sat back down. Pretty soon the entire arena was full, standing room only.

The show started off with several local indy guys trying out, then moved on to some hotter free agent indy stars, I took notes of the guys who had NLWF potential. “The Supreme Dream” Landon Brown, his name impressed me and hooked my attention, then watching him wrestle reminded me of a mid card Chuck Matthews, the talent was off the charts, Landon Brown was a future NLWF Champion, I knew it just by looking. Landon Brown lifted his opponent onto his shoulder then connected a perfect running power slam for the victory. The fans gave him a great reaction, they were just as entertained as me, we were all enjoying a great wrestling event.

And now, ladies and gentleman in attendance, and the fans watching at home, Welcome to the All-Star Wrestling Alliance Summer Spectacular!

The event went by faster then I wanted, Keith Cunningham who I promised a job came back and performed magnificently, defeating Chaos Castillo with the arm bar that made him famous in the NLWF. Keith Cunningham became the NLWF North American Champion, resurrection the belt for ASWA events.

Tag Team wrestling has always been one of my favorites to watch, Hunter Washington and Saint against FaceKid and Monster was a great treat to watch. Two teams who didn’t want to leave the show without the Tag Team Trophies. After outside interference by Kitty Chaos, Zombiehead was able to capture the win and the trophies.

The Main Event stole the show however, two of the greatest indy wrestlers in the entire world squared off one on one for the Golden Crown Heavyweight Championship, Bryan Pryce versus Brain Savage. They fought in a blood bath, Bryan Pryce smashed a tv monitor off the head of Brain Savage who began bleeding, then Brain Savage threw the steps at Bryan Pryce catching him right to the forehead and busting him open. The went into the crowd, backstage, into the parking lot, going for pins and submissions in so many different locations. Eventually the match made it back to the ring, but the action picked up even more, Zombiehead came out, then the rest of the New Church of Salvation came out. Before we knew it, ASWA had a riot of their own going. Bryan Pryce stood in the corner waiting for Brain Savage, once Brain Savage got up Bryan Pryce attempted the Eternal Damnation, Brain Savage blocked it and lifted Bryan Pryce high into the air for a choke slam. Brain Savage pinned Bryan Pryce, and it was all over.

The winner of the match, and the first ever Golden Crown Heavyweight Champion, Brain Savage!

We all stood up and cheered for Brain Savage, I sat back down as the arena began emptying. It was a fantastic show, in my opinion a complete success, I was proud of what they all had accomplished that night. Once everyone in the arena had left, I stood up and brushed myself off, I jumped the railing and climbed up the steel ring steps. I entered the ring and looked around at all the empty seats.

How did I do?

I turned around and looked at a bloody Brain Savage, he was holding his Golden Crown Heavyweight Championship in his right hand, letting it drag on the ground. He smiled at me, blood running down his face and into his mouth, his white teeth a crimson red.

Amazing performance, NLWF needs guys like you. Instead of guys like Shane Billz who gets in somehow. Wrestling is changing man, I don’t know if it’s changing to get better, or changing to get worse, but it sure is changing.

I leaned on the top rope, my tone was a tone of disappointment.

Well I hope we did something that impressed you sir.

You guys were off the hook, guys like you and the others here in ASWA, you guys renew my faith in professional wrestling. I think I’m going to wrestle for ASWA next week, just for fun, nothing to major, help out The New Church of Salvation against Zombiehead at the Homecoming debut.

Brain Savage rolled out of the ring and threw his Golden Crown Championship over his shoulder, I could tell he loved that championship the way I loved the World Heavyweight Championship, it made me proud to have him as the ASWA champion. I exited the ring and walked up the tiny entrance walkway to get backstage. People were shooting interviews, and promo’s for the next show, such hard workers.

I’m Dave Grey, from Wrestling Magazine, I did an interview with you because I once interviewed Johnny Stylez.

I remembered him now, I asked him to interview me just so I could send a message to Johnny Stylez, then I showed the world that I had kidnapped Alex Mark.

I looked him up and down, yeah I remembered him.

I started walking away from him, he began following me, the same stupid smile on his face. I walked a bit faster, he ran and cut me off.

I thought the riot was ridiculous, the security at the arena was pathetic. I think people watched Cotton the Clown completely shit all over our arena security, and that motivated people to jump the rail, to trample other people, to act like a bunch of mindless zombies. I took a bottle to the back of the head, I didn’t even know they allowed glass bottles at wrestling events. I’m pissed off that my first official night as NLWF owner was ruined by a bunch of idiots who got too excited, NLWF can’t be responsible for shitty security and stupid fucking fans. Now it’s time to move on, one bad moment can’t ruin a perfect day. You’re welcome for the interview, now get the fuck out of my way.

Dave Grey moved to the side letting me pass, I entered my rent a car, and drove out of the parking lot. I had a plane I needed to catch back to Los Angeles, it was going to be one hell of a week for sure, but I had never been more ready in my life.
