testimony
It was always going to get uglythat night. You could see clearly that the crowd were hyped up into a frenzy. Any sort of catalyst that would set them off would do just that, it would set
them off into complete chaos. It was a really exciting match, and I suppose
there is a good thing that came out of it too. Now NLWF knows that the fans get
so into our product that they feel emotionally charged enough to get involved
and try help out their favourite wrestlers. So in hindsight I think there was
both a good and bad outcome from that show. I know a lot of people were hurt
and many innocent people got in trouble that they didn’t even get involved in
but that’s the danger of such intense sports. It happens in all sports. Like soccer for instance. In Argentina the hooligans are so dangerous they actually kill each other.
Today I had to go to court for the sake of NLWF. As new Vice- President of the company it is my duty to defend them against any accusations that may arise. The real boss Brenton Cyrus
couldn’t make it. He has a lot of business meetings now that he’s the President
of NLWF so he sent the next best thing, me J! Anyway I didn’t like court, I had been there once before
and it didn’t go so good. Back in Ireland I was charged with possession of drugs. I received just to
drug treatment rather than jail time so it was okay. Although my dad could
never look at me the same way and my mom doesn’t know what to think. I suppose
that’s the price you pay for doing stupid things like taking pills. But if your
addicted, your addicted. There’s no easy way out of that situation. Anyway back
to the job at hand. I was going to court to defend NLWF in this situation we
got ourselves in.
So I got there five minutes early. I didn’t want to start off badly. We were already in bad enough trouble. I had Alison pick e out a suit for the day, I didn’t want to look like an idiot. I’m
not the most stylish guy on earth as all my friends will telly you. But anyway
when I got to the court room I was met with the usual reporters stirring shit
up and making up their own stories. Nothing out of the ordinary for NLWF.
Aaron, Can you tell us your thoughts on the riot?
Yeah it was fucking despicable and I don’t know how it
fucking happened. Absolutely ridiculous. Kids were frickin hurt, it’s awful.
Shit I didn’t even think of the kids until now. I am an ignorant asshole. Those poor kids who came to the show. Maybe a dream of theirs to come to an NLWF show. They get to see and cheer for
their heroes and a shitty unexplained incident like this happens. Words cant
even explain the anger and sorrow I have for the children. I better go down to
the hospital later. I don’t want them to think were not sorry and grateful for
their support. Its partly because I want to see them, but for the image of the
company as well.
As I sat in the court room all I could think about is the scenes I witnessed. I was standing at the end of the ramp with Nick Ridicule when it happened. The carriers fells and the people at
the front were crushed and walked on. I only ever saw these scenes twice. They
we both soccer matches. The European cup final in Heysel. Juventus and Liverpool.
Then Liverpool against Nottingham forest in Hillsborough.
Shocking scenes in both and I had
flashbacks of the consequences coming from that. I thought people were going to
die and I couldn’t do anything to save them.
MR. OSHEA!
Woah sorry. Yeah?
You have been called to the bench.
Oh okay.
I made my way to the bench and the judge must think something’s wrong with me, after I didn’t answer in a daze. But anyway.
So Aaron can we get your account of the happenings on night
in question?
Eh yeah of course. It was buzzing. The crowd were very, very
hostile. You could see that they had that look in their eyes they wanted
violence and blood. But no one saw it coming when they broke through the
barrier what they would do. No one thought their would be a full scale riot.
Yeah a lot of blood boiling after the huge crush at the front but not this. I
just thank Cyrus that the riot police arrived when they did to stop the riot.
But the arena organizers should have had more security to help with the health
and safety of our fans.
So you blame the arena’s organizers?
Not necessarily. They could have never imagined either that
a riot would brake out so I suppose it could have been worked better but I
don’t blame them.
Okay Mr. O’Shea thank you. You may step down from the bench.
Thanks your honour.
The flight last night down here would hardly be worth it just for that speech would it but now I have a bigger issue. I can go visit some of the kids before I go back. I went down on the way
to a local toy store. They were selling my action figure and they noticed it
was me. That was funny when the Asian store owner saw me. “OHHH it is you on
box. Sign please.” I signed a few of them so he could sell them for extra
money. The store was pretty run down so I was happy to do it. After that I went
straight to the hospital. They had some people and I just had to apologised and
signed autographs. Some took the apology some didn’t. I’m not bitter about
that, its understandable. Then I made it to the kids ward. It broke my heart to
see these little innocent kids in such bad condition. Especially this one kid. He’d
been stamped on in the front row as the barricades broke. He was unconscious and
in pretty bad condition. When he woke it was like a dream. He couldn’t believe I
was there. It really hit home. I had a great time with the kid, taking photos
playing, reading to him. All this stopped when his dad got there. Long story
short the kid saw his hero get yelled at and punched by his dad. But I am not
an inconsiderate asshole to the kid. I waited until I got outside to beat the
shit out of his dad hahaha. Well it was really “enjoyable” trip to Philadelphia. I had a lot of fun. NOT! Fucking Lawsuit, Getting a punch. 8 hour flight to and from good old PA. I wont be going back there in a hurry.
