I approached The Suicide Gun K.I.D backstage after the Salvation dominated Junior Championship Match. I was the last Junior Champion, and the first, and I had done what only two other men had done, become a Quadruple Champion in the NLWF. I smacked my hand into K.I.D’s shoulder, getting his attention immediately.

You’re gonna go far kid. You’ve earned my respect over the past few weeks. The fact is you’ve played the hand you were dealt, I punt kicked you in order to show you the light, and instead of refusing Salvation, you embraced it. I had to move on to the next stage of things, I hadn’t been fired yet for faking the kidnapping of Ashley Matthews, and Brenton Cyrus was backstage for Friday Fusion. I was too busy thinking about Ashley, she’s all I could think about, I even started dreaming about her. I got cleaned up and got dressed, I just needed to get some rest, the schedule was starting to get even the best of me. I walked out of my locker room, alone. I hadn’t been alone after a show since I returned, I didn’t have any clue what to do to keep myself entertained. I figured I would go back to the hotel room and just sleep before the NLWF flight in the morning, but that’s when I saw them. I quickly ducked behind a large PA speaker. I leaned my head over to look.

Derek unbuttoned his pants and pulled then down around his ankles, it was really late, I was shocked anyone was still even at the arena.

Her moan echoed through the hallways of the empty arena. Derek pulled out and grabbed a chair, Derek set up the chair and sat down.

Silvia pulled her skirt down and pulled up her panties, Derek grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the parking garage. I had to follow them, I don’t know why, but my legs were moving on their own. I got in my car and followed them out of the arena, the lights in Seattle glowed beautifully, I began thinking about Ashley again. We arrived at the Hotel and I got a room, I wasn’t sure how I was going to handle the information I had, but I did know that it would be useful.

I was ready to walk into the greatest Undisputed Universal Championship match in history. I exited my rent a car and walked towards the arena.

I ignored everyone and kept walking, all 4 of my belts on one arm as I walked with confidence. Inside the arena I was immediately attacked by several news reporters trying to get a word with me.

“What happened at the Church of Salvation?”

“Where is Ashley Matthews?”

“Nick Ridicule is it true you are leaving the NLWF!?”

I was bewildered by the stupidity of these people, I removed my sunglasses and looked at each reporter in a menacing way, until there was nothing but silence around me.

Listen, tonight I’m focused on one thing and one thing only, walking out of here as the Undisputed Universal Champion, everything else in life gets put on the backburner until I’m done. I refuse to hold this championship for less then ten days! I will be the first man to retain this championship, I guarantee it!

I pushed past security, I was annoyed, I had been like this all week long, since the fake kidnapping. It seemed like I failed, my plan to reunite Salvation didn’t seem to do anything but make Chuck take Ashley away from me. I walked to my locker room, nothing was the same without Ashley, I felt the way I used too, the way I used to feel right before I started taking drugs. Before the Lord took me back in, I felt Godless again, and no matter what thoughts went through my head the feeling wouldn’t go away. I needed to win at the Hall of Fame show, win or fail.
