Chapter 3
Things were really rolling quick in the NLWF after War Games, it was like everything the NLWF did went perfectly, and a snowball affect had taken over. Direct Hit was being run by Carmine Vestieri and Destroyed by Justin Kash, while Legacy was riding a wave of success on the Pulp Fiction Era.
Legacy was beating Direct Hit in the Ratings somehow, even with Joe Santiago as World Champion and Salvation starting to make there rise. It was like Shadow Demon’s loss at War Games made the people want to watch Legacy, it made them want to cheer for him, call him there Dark Hero, The Dark Future of Wrestling.
I fought Mid-Card in a King of the Throne Qualifying Match against a great opponent in Tapido Delevega. One of the only guys I wish was still in the NLWF is Tapido Delevega, he was a great opponent to work with.
I won my match and crucified Tapido Delevega, really set the tone of violence for Salvation, it also became our Trademark. On Legacy Justin Kash worked a rematch clause into the contract of Havoc, so Havoc would receive a match against Shayne Wolfe, but this time Shadow Demon would have to watch from the sidelines, fighting a no name like Cipher.
I was sad to see them waste a huge opportunity for redemption! They could have had Shadow Demon in the match, and he would have won! I know it! Havoc versus Shayne Wolfe made me doubt the sanity of Bert Hales.
The Show was Called Legacy III: The Beginning of the Shayne Wolf Era, which was fucking awesome, but then he loses the Universal Championship to Havoc? Who the fuck thought that was a good idea? What kind of retard wrote that up?
Anyway, my punishment finally ended with Carmine and Silva and Salvation’s Chuck Matthews and Brenton Cyrus got a shot at the Tag Team Titles, in a TLC Match, against Jake Stunner and Joe Santiago. On Legacy, Shadow Demon was unfortunately teamed up with DXLatin against Havoc and Shayne Wolfe for the Tag Team Titles.
Havoc pulled some shit on the wrong guy, a black man by the name of Bert Hales. Havoc was caught trying to take talent away with him to a fed created by Justin Kash, Havoc was busted on tape doing this. The tape was sent to Carmine, then sent to Bert Hales who fined Havoc $250,000 and threatened a suspension.
Havoc fought Bert Hales to the point where the two had to be separated in his office. Bert Hales refused to deal with Havoc shit so he devised a plan. Bert Hales had The Mexican Samurai take Havoc out at a live show in Hollywood. I remember being there and thinking this is where the shit hit’s the fan.
This fight was amazing. I wish I would have brought a camera because this was one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen. Legacy fans were treated to a real fight between The Mexican Samurai, Kickboxing Blackbelt and BJJ Blackbelt versus this 7’8” Goliath of a man, Havoc.
The only footage NLWF fans got to see was The Mexican Samurai lifting Havoc up for a Mexican Maelstrom, and pinning him, what I’m about to describe to you, everyone who watches my weird documentaries where I Kill a wrestler I don’t like, is what happened Apr 11, 2009 9:59 pm.
Bert Hales felt Havoc needed to be taught a lesson, But in Havoc’s contract it stated he could never be stripped of his championship as a form of punishment. Bert Hales decided he would have The Mexican Samurai fight Havoc at a live show, and beat Havoc MMA style. Bert Hales requested I be in the crowd to make sure nothing went down that was against our favor.
I stood in the crowd and watched the main event after the show was over. This was one lucky crowd, but Samurai’s people love him, it’s why they cheer his so much on Legacy.
The Mexican Samurai walked down to the ring, he told me before that he was kind of nervous, he had never fought anyone as huge as Havoc. I reassured him that everything would be fine, and that Havoc couldn’t kick the ass of a donkey. We laughed at the stupid joke and I sent Samurai on his way.
The Mexican Samurai cut a short promo telling Havoc exactly what was going to happen, he baited him perfectly and got his match. One on one shoot fight for the Universal Championship.
The bell rand and Samurai hoped into action throwing several leg kicks to Havoc’s knee before spin kicking Havoc to the gut. This was entertaining. The Mexican Samurai threw a few jabs, Havoc was so much bigger it wasn’t fair, I had no clue how The Mexican Samurai would get the job done.
The Mexican Samurai jumped at Havoc with several knees before finally attempting a takedown. Havoc guillotined The Mexican Samurai choking the life out of him. I stood up from my seat and Bert Hales shook his head no.
The Mexican Samurai backed Havoc into the corner and shoulder barged him several times before breaking out and rolling away from Havoc. The Mexican Samurai turned his back to Havoc and bounced for the ropes with a superman punch that rocked Havocs world.
Havoc stumbled hard backwards as The Mexican Samurai attacked with knees, strikes and kicks. The Mexican Samurai dropped Havoc to the ground when he clinched him and hit several uppercuts. Havoc fell forward, The Mexican Samurai pulled guard then locked in a Triangle choke.
I was shocked at how bad ass this man was, The Mexican Samurai was a total ass kicking machine, and he showed no remorse. The Mexican Samurai began to elbow the forehead of Havoc, delivering slicing blows tat cut the head of Havoc. But the big son of a bitch refused to stay down, he refused to tap out and he kept trying to get up. The Mexican Samurai elbowed and punched Havoc’s face while in the triangle until the point you couldn’t tell it was Havoc. The Mexican Samurai ripped his mask off and really got to work.
