WHEEL of COMBAT
I. HARDCORE ANIMOSITY
It is a 5 Match in One kind of deal. Obviously best 3 out of 5 wins.
:Match One:
Scaffold Barbed Wire Match. Pretty standard. Tables are wrapped with barbed wire, tables are stacked up all inside the ring, usually 3-5 tables high. There is a scaffold above the ring, usually anywhere from 15-20 feet. To win you have to through your opponent off the scaffold through the tables in the ring. (This is also a match that could be done by itself)
:Match Two:
This match moves to the boiler room, or even just the backstage arena, Falls Count Anywhere match. Standard FCA rules apply.
:Match Three:
Match three turns into a Glass Tables Match, outside of the building there is a second ring set up. There are glass tables around the ring and the ropes on this are replaced with barbed wire. In order to win you must through your opponent through a glass table.
:Match Four:
Also outside, same ring as match three only this turns into a Dumpster Match. Standard dumpster match rules, in order to win you must put opponent inside dumpster and close lid.
:Match Five:
Fifth and finally match. This becomes a Barbed Wire Caged Horror Match. Your choice, ring set up on top of the arena, or inside the arena. The crew would have had enough time to clear from the scaffold match. There is a page placed around the ring, an old school cage of metal. Weapons are clipped to the inside of the cage walls and there is barbed wire wrapped around the cage link pieces. Standard cage match, in order to win you must either school and pin fall or submission or escape the barbed wire cage. (This is also a match that can be done by itself)
II. SUSPENDED RING MATCH
The ring is suspended anywhere from 20-30 feet in the air. Being help up by four different cranes connected to the ring by eight heavy duty cables (two for each corner). Pin fall or submission winning rules.
III. GLASS CAGE MATCH
Just like a cage match, only this cage is made completely of glass.
IV. RUSSIAN ROULETTE MATCH
The gun is loaded with a blank Hollywood movie bullet. Whoever wins the roulette gets to choose the special stipulation for the match, whatever it may be.
V. TAIPEI DEATHMATCH
A Taipei Deathmatch is a match where the wrestlers' fists are taped and dipped into glue and in broken and crushed glass, allowing shards to stick to their fists. Win by Pin, Submission.
VI. CRAZY 8 MATCH
The Crazy 8 match, used mostly in the defunct Pro Wrestling Unplugged promotion, involves placing a championship belt at the top of a scaffold with the first wrestler to retrieve it being declared the winner. Placed in and around the ring for the wrestlers to utilize during the match are one side of a steel cage, two trampolines, and four rope swings.
VII. HANGMAN'S HORROR MATCH
The Hangman's Horror match, which was (legitimately) created by Raven, has dog collars hung on the ring ropes. In order to win the match a wrestler has to hang their opponent from one of the collars until they can no longer continue.
VIII. HOUSE OF FUN MATCH
The House of Fun, also known as Raven's House of Fun, match was created by professional wrestler Raven during his time in TNA Wrestling. It's a singles match for which a chain link wall is erected on one side of the the ring with chains wrapped from it to various points on the ring itself with weapons hanging from them.[39] In the first match the only way to win was to put an opponent through two tables,[39] but afterwards it was changed to a falls count anywhere rules.
IX. HARD TEN MATCH
The Hard Ten match was created by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It is contested on a points system, where the points are earned for the use of weapons. The first person to earn ten points — and be up by at least two points — wins. Regular strikes with a weapon are worth one point, while putting an opponent through a table is worth five.[42] It should be noted that, unlike the tables match, a wrestler simply moving out of the way and letting an opponent put them self through a table does count in this match type.
X. SADISTIC MADNESS
Sadistic Madness is a match created by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in which an opponent must be bleeding before a wrestler can legally pin them. Takes place inside of a barbed wire topped cage.
XI. LIGHTS OUT DEATHMATCH
All the lights of the arena are turned off and on the barbed wire that replace the ring ropes, there are light bulbs hanging which are turned on, that are the only lights that are on in the arena. It gets more and more darker when the light bulbs are broken by the wrestlers.
XII. BARBED WIRE STRAP MATCH
Just like a strap match, only barbed wire is wrapped around the strap.
XIII. TRIPLE CAGE MATCH
Three cells stacked on top of each other.
XIV. ROOFTOP RUMBLE
The wrestlers have their match on top of the arena where the event is.
XV. ELECTRIC CAGE MATCH
A cage match were the cage is electrified in intervals to allow for a possible escape or to utilize the electricity. Win by escape, pin, or submission.
XVI. SCAFFOLD MATCH
A Scaffold match takes place, in whole or in part, on a piece of scaffolding erected above the ring. The match can end in one of two ways; either with one wrestler pushing another off of the scaffold to the ring below, or with a wrestler retrieving a flag from the opposite side of the scaffold and return it to theirs. Scaffold matches have a (legitimate) air of danger about them, as the bump from such a height is hard to protect against and objects such as card tables are placed in the ring to attempt to cushion the fall.
XVII. FANS BRING THE WEAPONS MATCH
In a Fans Bring the Weapons match, all the weapons are provided by the fans prior to the show. Sometimes the weapons will be in the ring before the match starts, although occasionally weapons will be handed to the wrestlers during the action. This match type gained popular fame in the now defunct ECW, and this type is not typically seen any longer.
XVIII. BARBED WIRE CAGED HORROR MATCH
This becomes a Barbed Wire Caged Horror Match. There is a cage placed around the ring, an old school cage of metal. Weapons are clipped to the inside of the cage walls and there is barbed wire wrapped around the cage link pieces. Standard cage match, in order to win you must either score a pin fall or submission or escape the barbed wire cage.
XIX. IRON MAN MATCH
An Iron Man Match is a multiple-fall match with a set time limit. The match is won by the wrestler who wins the most falls within the said time limit, by either pinfall, submission, disqualification, or countout.
XX. JAPANESE DEATHMATCH
Ropes are replaced with barbed wire. There are boards of barbed wire around the ring, board of nails are also around the ring. Beds of thumb tacks. Boxes that are enclosed by a sheet of glass to throw your opponent through. Florescent light bulbs made into tables. Boards with small explosives on them that explode when hit. After a set amount of time, the ring explodes. Win by pin fall or submission....or keep your opponent in the ring for the explosion at the end.
