I’m starting to enjoy this again.
Though I fight in a battle that is not to be won, only survived, I can’t help but feel the joy returing into the things that I do, the words that I use. I know that my words are daggers, in which I murder you with. Sometimes those daggers get me into trouble, but I haven’t been dealt any cut too deep to stop me so far.
Time away has only sharpened the knives. This sharp tongue of mine can only be contained so long before I begin to spew venom. My words carry the weight that breaks lesser men! I can use your own words against you, make you doubt yourself, make you believe in me instead.
Whether I choose to use these powers I am so aware of for good or for evil will be shown over time.
Rest assured knowing that I will always rise to any occasion. Despite this being the unwinnable battle at Legends of the Fall, I guarantee to put on a show for you like only Brenton Cyrus can! When the lights shine bright and reflect off the steel of the surrounding pyramid cage, know that I will be smiling.
Going into a match without the desire to win can do one of two things. It can either kill your motivation until you’re a frightened coward, hiding away from the pressure. It can also give you an advantage. Without having to sacrifice or risk going for the victory I’ll be able to protect Alison and myself.
I know she wont want me to protect her. She’s a strong woman, the strongest I’ve met. A survivor in her own right. But I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I allowed her to be hurt by any of my enemies.
The battle is between us men. Lets keep it that way. Keep family out of things! You taught me a lesson. I get the point. A dose of my own medicine. But these games need to end as time ticks away these last few moments until our Ultimate Glory clash of titans.
I would call it a clash of Immortals, but you aren’t one.
I want my daughter back at Legends of the Fall like you promised. For once be a man of your word, instead of a man just willing to coast on the past. This is the greatest rivalry in the history of wrestling already, you don’t have to take things any further than they have gone.
I wont make any threats, I wont negotiate anymore, no tricks up my sleeve. I literally lay down defenseless as long as my daughter is in danger.
If I remember correctly, that’s something you refused to do for your son. Instead you let him be buried, furthering his belief in you as a failure of a father. You tried to fight, tried to win a wrestling match, neglecting your only son.
How about instead of pointing your fatty finger at me, you point it right back at yourself. How about you point it at the mastermind behind Live or Die, your son Alex. Sure I was the face of the plan, but wake up. He sought me out with the idea that would destroy your already tarnished legacy.
I just went along with it. Now I’m paying for the sins of the son.
